Sound and Vision is an immersive installation featuring interactive audio and video components.  The work discusses the casual role of influencing technologies in modern society and how we relate, as bodies of flesh, to technology.  Offering light-hearted animations and soothing environmental sounds for those who just want to see something pretty.
 
Sound and Vision is the second exhibition funded in part by the 2003 Aliant New Media Prize.  The Khyber Digital Media Centre was chosen  to support four local new media artist projects, the first exhibition, new media one, featured artists Stephan Schulz and Valerie Salez. The third exhibition in the series is expected in early 2004 featuring work by Eleanor King.
